Sure enough, as soon as I start packing up the car to leave every bird in the vicinity gather near the cabin. It had been a pretty quiet weekend for birds around the cabin we were staying at, but not Sunday morning. I guess I should be happy that I got to see them before we departed.
The titmice were particularly gregarious - chasing one another all over the pines that were near our cars. Shelli had mentioned that she heard a group of birds fighting outside the cabin on Saturday morning, I am guessing it was the same group of titmice.
